Wow, it’s already 2013. 2012 sure went by in a flash, but looking back it’s amazing how much we accomplished at St. Croix Promotions and Retail. In fact, the year was far too big to simply put into words. So take a look at these infographics prepared by the St. Croix art department. They show just a few of the highlights that kept us busy last year including our new Minnesota Local Brew  retail store in MSP Airport and the 100th Year Celebration of the Girl Scouts pop-up retail store at the Mall of America! Thanks to all for a great 2012 and here’s looking to a fantastic 2013. The last infographic shows a taste of what’s to come…

While still fully immersed in the excitement of the holiday season, I had the opportunity to step back and really appreciate what helped to make this season so wonderful. For this blog, I’ll call them the two “Cs of the season – Clients and Children.

We are so grateful for our clients, and not just because they help us pay the bills. Yes, I have a soft spot for paying the bills, but what really makes our client relationships so special is that they let us shine–allowing our entire team to use our creativity and energy to do great work and have fun! Then, there are the children. The unabashed joy and excitement on the face of a child makes it clear what the season is all about.

Pady BrowniesIf you want to have hope for the world, hang around with a bunch of Girl Scouts- I mean a lot of Girl Scouts.  I did at the Centennial Great Girl Gathering Event for Girl Scouts at Mall of America March 11 & 12.  It was one of the best run events I have ever been involved in.  We cannot thank the teams from Girl Scouts River Valleys and Mall of America enough.  They were fantastic.

Our Company was lucky enough to assist with opening, operating and development of branded merchandise for the Great Girl Gathering Retail Store.  The store was the largest ever Girl Scouts Store in the world-over 6,000 square feet on the North side of MOA, including four kiosks throughout the mall.

Last night I had the pleasure of attending a wonderful St. Croix celebration.  Our SeaLife Team blew away their sales goals this year.   We held dinner/bowling night in celebration.  It was a blast and it brought tears to my eyes.  Here before me was our fantastic team that worked together and accomplished so much.  And best of all they have so much fun and work together so well.
